We represent clients in both insurance counseling and insurance coverage disputes. Our professionals advise clients regarding the scope of their insurance coverage and interpretation of their insurance policies. In addition, our clients are counseled regarding their duties and responsibilities in case of a covered loss, including notification and cooperation, to protect their available insurance coverage. We work with clients on how to present an insurance claim and how best to enforce their rights under their insurance polices, including litigating coverage issues where appropriate.

Investing in risk management and litigation avoidance can protect clients from becoming embroiled in litigation, with its high cost and large time commitment. Counseling clients to manage risks, including steps to take if litigation ensues, is part of Bingham McHale’s approach to helping clients through a difficult time.
